Screenwriting Intensive

This four-week class is open to students who have taken Nils Osmar’s Screenwriting 101 class, or who have the instructor’s permission.

In it, each student will be working to complete a portion of a full (90-120 page) screenplay.

The goal will be for each student to write at least 30 pages during the four weeks of the class.

After the class ends, you are then welcome to take it again to write the next 30 pages… and again to write the next 30 pages.

Or, or course, you can just take the class once to focus on the start of your screenplay, then finish it on your own without repeating the class.

We’ll start by writing a treatment, make sure our story structures are sound, then focus on the acts, and break it down into scenes.

As with Rekindle’s other screenwriting classes, there will be opportunities to workshop your script in class and to get feedback from the instructor and others.

There will also be a pre-class assignment so that we’re all up and running and ready to start writing by the first class meeting.
