• I drew this years ago, back when I was working with Tim Sale, who did the inking.
• Tim later went on to becoming one of the most influential artists in comics
• I recently added in the colors, creating this version of the image in Photoshop.
• The image itself is from a strange comic book story about some people who die and are reincarnated as life forms of another sort…. the title would have been Born of the Flesh.
• I was going to publish it way back in the early 1990s, but then moved away from publishing comic books into publishing an arts tabloid.
• It’s nice to be able to share the work online these days.
